For all you science geeks out there, A Review of the Universe is a fun way to waste an afternoon.
Be warned, though: the site is very slow.

I didn’t find it very believable and the second act really could have used some editing, but overall I’d give it three stars.
i hear there’s gonna be a movie adaptation.
Presumably they’ll speed it up a bit — the moviegoing public really isn’t gonna sit still for those billions of years of homogeneous uncondensed cosmos… Joe and Jane public want some romance in the film, strong characterizations and action in the plot.
(Also the Big Bang is a strange device. Whose idea was it to put it at the beginning, it seems like a much more effective ending.)
…Hmm: Though getting into it, I could see a kind of flashback treatment, where the opening of the movie is universal heat death, hold that frame for thirty seconds or so and then jump into cosmic memory. You could build it so the end is the beginning, the Big Bang and then the credits roll. Maybe even do a sort of Memento treatment.
I mean not Memento, Benjamin Button. It would be a real coup if we could get Brad Pitt to play the universe.
i think you’d have to get Kevin Bacon to play the Universe, given the whole interconnectedness thing.
