Thus concludes my Year By Year list: my favorite record from each year since my birth. I hope it was tolerable.
Most of these were easy. A few years had too many great records to choose from (1980!). But the hardest were the several years, recent years especially, for which I'd only even heard a handful of records; choosing a 'favorite' for those years was picking the best out of two or three records that might not rank at all, in a top 100.
But, it was fun for me. That's what really matters.
