Here's a GreaseMonkey script to kill those annoying banners at the top of the Wiki pages. Only works, as far as I know, with FireFox, and you'll need GreaseMonkey installed.

yep. but i think Chrome 4 supports user scripts as-is.

OK, I spoke too soon. It works on some pages, not on others. Still, that article you pointed me too did say that about 15-20% of GM scripts might not work correctly.
on pages that don’t work, check that the URL matches the wildcard that the script is looking for:
