oh, of course not. it’s only when you do the “big rally” in Germany, in front of “monuments to Prussian military might” with “tens of thousands of chanting Germans”, and you’re a Democrat (or maybe just Obama) – then he reserves the right to say “hey it’s not our fault if you end up looking like Hitler”.

and my response was merely to show that Reagan’s setup was pretty much identical to Obama’s (except for, ya know, the GOP/Dem thing). so, therefore, i get to call Reagan “Ronald Hitler Reagan”, and it’s perfectly fine with everyone. nothing wrong with that, right ?

If there was a Republican saying that Democratic footage of Reagan’s Berlin speech was intended to make him look like Hitler than your comment would make sense.
so, while i’m still not 100% convinced that i’m misinterpreting Ross, i’m gonna take this down because i can see that there’s a reasonable argument that i am, and the snark loses its zing with that much ambiguity around it…
