I just downloaded a game, "Dragon Age: Origins" from Steam. I went to launch the game and Steam gave me a little window with three choices:
- Launch Dragon Age: Origins
- Launch Dragon Age: Origin's Launcher
- View Support Information
I'm pretty sure I'm going to try the first option, because the second one sounds like the first step in an infinite loop.
So I ordered a new computer with Windows 7, hope it doesn’t suck. Plan is to rip every CD in the house onto it and then put the CDs in the attic as part of baby proofing. Would rip DVDs too but don’t know how and likely the hard drive isn’t big enough.

i haven’t found anything about it that sucks. but then again, i liked Vista – and am not ashamed to admit it :)

good idea. we ripped all ours, and put the CDs in a closet. just be sure to back up that drive … :)
