Why don't we have a simple, short, easy to say, unit for "miles per gallon" (or the metric equivalent) ?
Well “miles per gallon” or “mpg” is as simple as “miles per hour”/”mph” — why would it be simpler? I guess “mph” is easier to recognize than “mpg” which might make people think you’re talking about multimedia.
i want something short and easy to say “emm pee gee” isn’t really either.
“My car gets 27 foos, highway, 22 city”. somthing like that
