Marianne from the Berkeley posted that on her FB… too cute. And since my kids are away this week, I’m actually going to be able to go to the Berkeley and see Kickin Grass and Unknown Hinson (he is, for lack of a better word, a hoot.)
cleek
i don’t think i’ve ever made it to a Kickin Grass show… though they’re always playing near where i’m at.
i love the name “Unknown Hinson”, tho. will investigate.
(Update: i’m an idiot.)

The Unknown Hinson joke is that he was named after his father (i.e. his birth certificate says father: unknown). His act is a character, sort of a campy 1950s country star with a strange vampire-y twist, which is difficult to explain, but he is also a hell of a guitar player. There are a lot of hipster fangirls at his shows. It looks like your wife is blond, which is fortunate, because if she were pale, black-haired, and tattooed, you would definitely lose her.
that is the best thing ever. that kid sure has a southern accent to be living in seattle.
Ugh Jr. approves of this post.
