I see from my hometown paper that Sacramento is opening up temporary shelters for the people in the tent city — also the article denies that the tent city is a recent phenomenon, says “The people in the tent city are primarily chronic homeless people who have been out there for a long time” — that’s according to someone who works for “a city-county partnership to end chronic homelessness.”
