was listening to some sports talk radio folks on my way home from work this evening (which is why I probably do so poorly on the name that tune threads), and they were all excoriating Phelps. He should lose his endorsements. Smoking pot is horrible. Blah blah blah. I was like, “these people are nuts.” And this is in DC. (these guys, in case you’re wondering, usually they’re entertaining).

i was out after work with some people and they were all like “he’s a role model!” and “he’s setting a bad example!”
and i’m like “he’s a world-famous celebrity millionaire, and he’s 23. what do you expect he’s gonna do?”
