Awesome, another chance for me to show teh suck.

Also, I have to say that the ending to BSG Season 4.0 was a little disappointing. Surprising, but not surprising in that “OMFG did that really fucking just happen” sort of way. Of course, now I get to wait until Season 4.5 comes out on DVD to see how it ends (unless the Sci-Fi channel runs a rerun marathon or something).

    don’t wait!

you can watch the full episodes on SciFi.com. “Sometimes a Great Notion” and “A Disquiet Follows My Soul” are the two they’ve shown so far. next one is tomorrow night at 10.

  3. Ugh

    are you caught up yet?

for the first time ever. wow. way to go felix. and the preview for next week looks awesome.

  4. Ugh

I’m not sure where all of this is headed, though I am starting to fear the hybrid. I have to say I didn’t see the Dee thing coming until about 5 seconds before, when I said to myself “she’s going to X.”

This show overall has been terrific, with so many twists and shocks that it is keeping me coming back for more. My only complaint would be they tend to ignore the shocks of the last episode to turn to something new, with the characters who had whatever happen to them last episode kind of ignored, but maybe that’s just because I’ve been watching 4-5 episodes back to back.

Let’s hope there is a hell of an ending!

    those webisodes are interesting.

they tend to ignore the shocks of the last episode to turn to something new

yeah, that bugs me a little, too.

and why aren’t they as interested in the identity of the final as they were about the other four ?

still, a better show than most, by far.

Yeah, that’s been bugging me, though they have been busy. And the whole starbuck thing throws a fog over everything.

I did like that they cleaned up the Chief/Callie’s child loose end, though it seems clear to me that when they wrote that story line originally they hadn’t planned out the rest of the series (i.e., whoops, that means they have a hybrid child too, gotta fix that).

i had forgotten all about that. that does explain a lot :)

I caved (again) and downloaded and watched the latest episode. Wow. Gator, you’re going to die a painful death!

When ‘To be continued’ appeared I screamed ‘YOU FUCKERS!’ a little too loudly.

The writing is superb – I love the way they set Gator up for this.

I tried to join BSG last season but gave up after a couple episodes or so.

    Don’t laugh, but . . .

    Is Starbuck still behind bars?

If not, and I imagine she isn’t, how and/or why did she get out?

And who would win this fight: Starbuck or Sydney Bristow from “Alias”?

    Is Starbuck still behind bars?

    nope

If not, and I imagine she isn’t, how and/or why did she get out?

you can’t keep your best pilot in jail!

And who would win this fight: Starbuck or Sydney Bristow from “Alias”?

Sydney. she’d turn into a crazy acrobatic John Woo martial arts tornado and Starbuck would just stand there swearing.

  11. Ugh

Starbuck would just pull out her gun and shoot Sydney and say something like “What? Is that not allowed?”

I have a feeling we’re going to see more then a few long-time characters die before the show ends.

  12. bedtimeforbonzo

For what it’s worth, I’d go with Sydney, much on the basis of what cleek said: “She’d turn into a crazy acrobatic John Woo martial arts tornado and Starbuck would just stand there swearing.”

And I’d love watching every minute of it . . .
