Winning is everything. And if winning means Trump needs to pretend his own past statements do not exist because they are indefensible, so be it. All that matters is that the GOP wins. That Trump is absolutely unfit for the job is totally irrelevant.
God do I fucking hate Krauthammer with a white hot burning passion that I can’t quite explain. Everything he writes/says is poisonous.
Let’s be clear.
Dr. Krauthammer is not a party official nor is he a Trump campaign official. He’s a right-wing opinion television personality and book seller. But he may be right in his advice. The Democrats are trying desperately to distract the public from their candidate’s flaws and I think his message is to ignore them.
If Trump wants to win, he should ignore everyone and focus on a positive message about the economy and then focus on Hillary’s record in government. That’s it. That’s the winning message.
He should stop talking about things that don’t matter. No one really cares if he called Rosy O’Donnell a fat pig. No one really cares about a beauty contest twenty years ago or transgender bathrooms. No one really gives a shit about any of this. Democrats tell everyone they should, but they really don’t.
Economy, immigration and national security is what they care about.

but people do care. that’s his whole fucking problem. without all that stuff, he’s basically generic Republican. but it’s all that other stuff that makes him Donald Trump; it’s why he’s a TV celebrity; it’s why (some) people like him; and it’s what makes him completely unfit. you can’t take the Trump out of Trump, no matter how much you and Krauthammer want the nasty woman to lose.

Let’s be clear, here. The Donald is no choir boy. But we’re not electing a choirboy. We’re electing someone that will get the economy going and will keep us safe. This is another distraction that no one will really care about.
