I generally hate flavored beer. And I hate shellfish. So, this beer is not for me:
Pearl Necklace is brewed with local Rappahannock River Oysters and is the perfect compliment to everyone's favorite aphrodisiac - whether they are grilled, fried, stuffed, or raw.

I tried a “Koko Brown” once, on the Big Island, not realizing that it actually had coconut in it. Jeez. Had to send it back.
I quite liked the replacement, though.
coconut beer…. gack.
on a whim, i ordered a “Sweet Baby Jesus” at a local bar a couple of weeks ago, only knowing that it was a porter of some sort…
… chocolate and peanut butter! barf!
I hate shellfish
I am sorry to learn of this disability.
My Friday drinking bro once bought a six of Sierra Nevada Spruce Beer, flavored with real spruce tips. He drank one. It took me about a year to drink the other five, one at a time, on nights when he ran out of other beer.
But they were better than Budweiser.
extra-hoppy beers can approach spruce flavor. i can at least understand the idea.
but oysters?
Even a lambic? Them are pretty tasty!
I love shellfish.*
I love raspberries
I love peanut butter
I love apricots
I love coconut*
I love beer.
Separately, until they reach my stomach.
*Maybe mussels in a coconut enhanced broth.
raspberry zingers combine coconut and raspberry to delicious effect!
