Pizza Hut

Was Pizza Hut good back in the mid-80's? Or is that my imagination?

I remember reallllllly liking it, back when I was a kid, but I think it's pretty much greasy ass these days.

Pizza Hut was the Pizza Hut of pizza. It was a place you went because you were told it was the place where they made pizza. I was thoroughly convinced it was the best pizza in the world because I’d never had it.

    Then I did.

From waiting to be seated to picking at the salad bar to waiting for the pizza to come while drinking root beer after root beer, it certainly was a production. Compared to Dominos pickup counter, it was like going to the fricken ballet.

i specifically requested P.H. for all my birthdays, back in H.F. – and ginger ale + rainbow sherbet punch.

    dad always preferred Mandy’s.

I once went to pizza hut every other day for lunch one semester in high school. The other day we went to a different pizza joint.

I moved to Knoxville, TN in the mid-80’s, and lived very close to a Pizza Hut. I remember thinking how good it tasted.

Seems any more it’s greasy and frequently gives me heartburn.

I thought it was from getting older.
