The flags that currently fly over the state house dome were, indeed, lowered. The confederate battle flag is not one of them. It was moved from the capital dome in 2000 to a memorial.
The whole idea was to distance the flag from any official relevance to government. Now, you seem to want it to be relevant again.
Now, you seem to want it to be relevant again.

If South Carolina wants to fly it high or take it down, it doesn’t matter to me.
What’s objectionable to me is not the flag, but the mob mentality of those that want to run roughshod over others they disagree with.
If you live in New York City, San Francisco or elsewhere and you sit behind your keyboard and obsess about South Carolina and how high they fly a flag, you’re life must be pretty fuckin’ shitty.
Get a grip.
