Burn bright through the night, two pockets lead the way
To doors to go between, the wall was raised today
To doors remain before your others and your own
Keep these books well stocked away and take your happy home
My pockets are out and running about
Barking in the street to tell what I have hidden there
Two houses, connected by a tunnel.
Raise the walls and shout its flaws, a carpenter should rest
So that when you tire of one side the other serves you best
(this post was cowritten by me, Michael Stipe, and REM. i really doubt the accuracy of the lyrics above, but i'm too lazy to figure out what i think he's saying)

Man, do I love that Fables Of Th’ Reconstruction. I think it’s their Magical Mystery Tour. People consider it their worst album but it just never stops being great in that Worst Album sort of way. “Kahoutek”, “Wendell Gee”, “Driver 8”, “Feeling Gravity’s Pull”- amazing songs. “Green Grow The Rushes”- an almost perfect song.
yep. it’s my least favorite of the classic-era REM records (up till Out Of Time), but it has a lot of songs that i really like. it’s just that the other albums have more.
OT – more charts for your mad pony-editing skeelz.
ooops, you’d been there already, my bad
i’ve been trying, but i can’t think of anything fun to do with those graphs :(
maybe i’m a one trick pony-grapher.
You’re at a disadvantage here as those graphs actually convey information (true or not), and had things like consistent axes, whereas the Ponygraph-Petreaus graph did and had no such things.
yeah, and it felt kinda weird trying to make fun of the numbers of dead people …
