i was also a little surprised at how conventional (?) most of it seemed. for some reason i assumed he’d really like a bunch of obscure stuff that i’d have to go learn about.
Well he’s not been secretive about his influences… Last time I saw him he name-checked Jim Morrisson, John Lennon, and Bob Dylan… I wouldn’t have guessed Traffic but now that I think about it, of course. The interview was fun reading.

that was odd. it was a validly-formed link, but to a page that no longer exists on that site. instead of taking you to the error page, the browser (FF, too) just directed back here.
