And yet, up until he lost the election, John McCain had appeared on The Daily Show more than any other guest. Seems like something only a celebrity would be able to claim.
And, old news aside... what's so liberal about Hollywood's undying love of gratuitous violence ? If movie and TV producers are so bound up with the liberal ethos, shouldn't there be a hell of a lot less gun violence in what they make? And fewer murders? And more vegetarians?

And never titter at other’s ethnicity or sexual orientation? Or represent the greatest possible good attainable to be material wealth? Or fetishize vigilantism? Or promote healthy body image ideals for young women? Or…
