Einstein's Theory of Relativity can't explain it, either. And here we all thought Einstein was so smart. Well, ya couldn't fool us forever, could ya Albert? Ya big phony!

...and it can't explain how my material brain plays host to my immaterial mind (or thoughts, if you like). If we are all the result of inexorable evolutionary processes, then I shouldn't be able to have any thought which does not immediately coincide with the last thought in my brain...I could not, as it were, think one second about space flight and the next about a cheese sandwich.

There's just so much stupid packed into those two-and-a-half sentences, I... I don't even know where to begin. Just the thought of peeling back layer after layer of idiocy in this onion of dumb makes me weep. Space flight and cheese sandwiches ? What ?

But, its profound stupidity is illuminating, in a way: it shows the quality of thought that's required of a Bush supporter these days. (via)
