Takes me back to my days wrangling radar imagery for a weather systems company.

The red dot is a very, very, very bad place to be, if you’re an airplane, or in one.

All of them. Well, not quite all of them anymore, but most packages go through Memphis for sorting. Send a package from NY to Boston? The package is going to Memphis first.

Working the cargo ramp was a good job for college students back in the day. It’s only a few hours every night and they paid a high rate for something a college student could do stoned. Back in pre 9-11 days, one of my friends would jumpseat every weekend to go see the Dead. Don’t know if they allow that now, but I’d be surprised.
