Thanks.
I wuz lookin’ in the wrong place.
Usedta like going through Covington before the Interstate bypassed it. It was a landmark for us because my wife’s family were based in Cincinnati, and Covington, Kentucky is right across the river there, from which the sign in Cov. PA said it took its name. But it’s mostly slightly hilly bottom land around there; no hint of big gorges just to the west.
There’s the big gorge, with I guess a reservoir, just south of Tioga, which was always a treat. Looks as if it’s part of the same river system; but again had no clue. If I were going south again I’d certainly hope to take it in.
Thanks again.
