...is a "Play This Next" option.
Say an album is playing, it's on the next to the last song and you know which album you want to hear next, but you don't want to stand there for five minutes until the current one ends to tell iTunes to start the next. No, you just select the album you want to hear next, choose "Play This Next", and walk away. No "Playlists", no "Party Shuffle", none of that list making stuff - just Play This Next.
It's crazy that iTunes doesn't have this.

Maybe not as OT as I think, go see this.
Thanks for reminding me. I forgot to check out your posts on Merlefest ’06, so I did just now. Very good pix and coverage.
I agree with you 100% on both Nickel Creek and Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, but comparing the goddess Emmylou with Penny Marshall….Harrumph!
I like the Dead, but how many of their albums does one need to get the idea? A coupla Dick’s Picks do me just fine. I’ve got more albums with Jerry Garcia playing Bluegrass banjo than I do Dead albums. As a matter of fact, just last week my friend Bentley and his wife Bev, both Bluegrass and Celtic pickers (guitar, mandolin, her – fiddle) gave me a T-shirt with a very nice line drawing of Garcia pickin’ a banjo that Bentley had drawn in ’99.
My wife and I disagree on musical taste – she likes Bluegrass best and I like old-time mountain music best. I guess we’re not too far apart.
>but comparing the goddess Emmylou with Penny Marshall
only the look. :)
>I like the Dead, but how many of their albums does one need to get the idea?
i’ve got two – “Best Of” and the live one from 71 (the one with Bertha). that’s all i need.
>with a very nice line drawing of Garcia pickin’ a banjo that Bentley had drawn in ‘99.
cool
I agree – it is very annoying. WMP is much better in this regard – you can queue things up to play very easily.
I am still getting issues with stuttering sound on 7.0.1.8 – some days are better than others, but today has been terrible. Sadly, I am close to dumping iTunes.
>I am still getting issues with stuttering sound on 7.0.1.8
ouch. 7.0.1 fixed that for me. there’s still some flakeyness when it comes to updating the iPod’s firmware. but i can just not update it.
