I just got a copy of this today actually as it had a glowing review in the normally reliable “Uncut” magazine (4 stars for the Aussie Beatles!). Will listen to it tomorrow. Their last CD was OK – a handful of good tracks, the rest was 70s-rock-by-numbers.

Just listened to it. Pitchfork were spot on. Sounds like an Oasis-tribute band doing terrible covers of Beatles songs. Ho hum.
