   pleasure – a wedding reception. should be fun… except for the plane part. it’ll be exciting to see what we’re not allowed to carry-on this month.

   i’ve been thinking about it, dabbling, got a few song sketches on tape (actually in .MPG from my digicam). and, happily, my lovely wife bought me a real, live BigMuff for my birffday! rock. can’t wait to try it out.

   know of any good, inexpensive, digital recorders ? my old hand-held cassette recorder i used to use to capture song ideas is beat.

   mmm, how “inexpensive”? i have the Edirol R-1 and i really like it. built-in mics work great for non-loud rock stuff. basically the mic-pre-amps blow out with super loud, lower frequencies. the R-09 is the replacement. only shortfall is that it doesn’t charge batteries when plugged in (either via AC or USB2). http://www.rolandus.com/products/productlist.aspx?ParentId=114

   yeah… maybe a little more inexpensive than those… :) they look totally sweet, though.
