   Very pretty, but I don’t think that it’s a redbud.

   I’m 99% sure it is. early march in NC is when they bloom.

   hmmm… after research… well, everybody calls them “red buds”, but i guess that’s probably an Okame cherry!

   Yeah well if you want to go there, “Red Budded Tree” could easily be sung to the tune of “Heliotrope”…
