Cat cleared in child porn case

FloriDUH reports:

Keith R. Griffin, 49, of Jensen Beach claimed his cat downloaded porn on his computer: He said he would leave his computer on and the cat would jump on the keyboard and just like that, the images would appear.

Naughty, naughty kitty!

At least that is what he told the cops when they charged him with possession of child pornography in August 2009 after a detective found more than 1,000 child pornographic images on his computer.

Now even Griffin isn't buying his own kitty porn excuse: On Tuesday he was ordered to serve 12 1/2 years in prison after pleading no contest to 25 felony child pornography charges, reports TCPalm.com.

In court, Griffin, thin, handcuffed and soft-spoken, never mentioned his cat, and told Circuit Judge Sherwood Bauer he was pleading no contest because it was in his best interest, reports TCPalm.com.
