Not A Good Sign

I just made a small donation on BarackObama.com (cause they're doing matching donations). The donation processed fine, but it immediately triggered a fraud alert email from our credit card company.

I know they had CC fraud problems during the 08 campaign, but maybe the problems are ongoing...

A discovery

If you have a convertible, it might not be a good idea to try operating the top while you have a bike rack attached to the trunk. Loud sounds and crumpled steel, followed by three days (minimum) at the body shop, may result.

This is not related to my amazing discovery Monday about poblano peppers: no, they are not the hottest chilies in the world (not even close, really), but you should still wash your hands after cutting them because you never know when you will accidentally touch your eye while lounging on the couch.
