The YouTube channel "Drumeo" has a series of videos where they invite professional drummers into their studio and then play them a song they don't know, with the original drums removed - so they just hear vocals, guitars, etc.. And they're asked to play drums to the song. It's usually something out of their style, so it's a bit of a challenge. Most people come in, give the song a listen a two, take notes, get the feel for the overall song, chart out sections, etc.. And they give it a few tries all the way through. The end result is always pretty fascinating, and impressive. They're rarely exactly the same as the original, but they make it work. At the end they hear the original back and see how they did - they're usually pretty humble about it.
But Chad Smith, of Red Hot Chili Peppers, is no ordinary professional drummer. No note taking for this guy...

Three years ago, I diagnosed a problem with my Fender Blues Jr amplifier. There was a distinct fizzing buzz from the amp whenever I played a specific note. It turned out to be the reverb tank
, and the sound happened even when the reverb level was at zero. A $30 reverb tank replacement was all it took to fix the problem.
Since then, the Blues Jr has gone away, and has been replaced by a Fender Princeton Reverb - seen here:
And, a couple of weeks ago, I noticed the same issue - a slight buzzing on certain notes played anywhere, on any guitar, even with the reverb set to zero.
And, the same fix fixed it: a new $30 reverb tank from Mod. - cheaper than the stock part from Fender!

But experts say that AI-generated foraging books , specifically, could actually kill people if they eat the wrong mushroom because a guidebook written by an AI prompt said it was safe.
The New York Mycological Society (NYMS) warned on social media that the proliferation of AI-generated foraging books could “mean life or death.”

I bought some topsoil to level off a few low-spots in our yard. I figured one yard would be plenty, since the spots weren't very big. So I called a local landscape supply company and they said it would be $28 a yard, with a delivery fee of $45. So, I ordered two yards to be safe.
I noticed their website said a yard of soil weighs 1.3 tons. I assumed I was misunderstanding. How could 3x3x3 feet of dirt weigh 2,600 pounds?
They delivered it. And there it was - two yards, 54 cubic feet, of dirt - sitting on a tarp in our driveway. Didn't look very big. Didn't look very heavy. So I filled up my wheelbarrow with a load and... oof. Yes, it was heavy. Then I believed what the website said. I had 5,200 pounds of dirt in my driveway. And it's 95 degrees out all week.
That, and a summer of too many funerals, got me thinking...
Assuming a grave is six feet deep, six feet long, and three feet wide, and assuming a coffin is 6 feet long, three feet wide and two feet deep, you'll need 72 cubic feet of dirt to fill the hole after the coffin is in there (6 x 4 x 3). That's 2.6 cubic yards. That's almost 7 ,000 pounds of soil. Zombies must be far stronger than movies give them credit for.
