i used to use it because it was cheaper than Kodachrome and much quicker and cheaper to process. while the photo stores around me couldn’t do it in-house, it was just a week’s turn-around for the E-6 stuff. Kodachrome sometimes took them up to a month to get back.
Ektachrome . . . hmm . . . Ektachrome . . . don’t think I ever used Ektachrome.
