* - I hated this song when it came out. It wasn't until this past year that I realized how awesome it actually is.
I have not yet come around to realizing how awesome “You Better You Bet” is. Indeed this last year has been the time when I figure out how much I really don’t like The Who.
(Come to think of it, I didn’t really know “YBYB” was a Who song. I think I had been operating under the assumption it was by somebody like Meat Loaf.)
there’s a whole of of Who stuff that i really don’t like (ex most of Tommy). they’re one of those bands who can write great stuff (IMO, obvs), but who otherwise fill up their albums with lameness. they’re a singles band, in other words.
