So I’ve started listening to music at work, which was a real winner for about 2 hours before my f*cking iPod battery ran out of charge. It’s two years old and the battery is knackered. Apple will replace the battery (by replacing the iPod itself with a refurb!) for about £50 and it could be gone for 2 weeks.
Apple, I love your gear but your lack of easily-replaceable batteries is a f*cking PAIN IN THE ARSE!

that’s why i bought a $15 iPod power adapter on line for use at work. the only time i use the battery is on a plane.
in addition to battery life… i wish they’d spend some time making iTunes into something other than a bloated piece of crap. Genius has stopped working altogether for me – it just locks-up iTunes every time it tried to do an update.
Don’t get me started on iTunes 9 which, like a lemming, I downloaded and installed the day it was released (will I never learn…)
50% of the time it hangs when I plug in my iPod or iPhone. It’s slower than the last version, syncing seems to take forever and they broke sorting for multi-CD albums (so you get all the track 1’s, all the track 2’s, etc.) Oh, and it looks pretty crappy now too. :)
Bastards. I never had any significant issues with iTunes until now.
