Seconded. I think they’re good enough to play Merlefest, maybe we’ll see them there sometime. Of course here and now it is 102 degrees with 112% humidity outside, so the A/C has its advantages. But yeah, it’s a dive, but the staff is friendly. I do kind of miss the Hideaway though, we saw the Duhks there while munching on fried pickles and halfway decent barbecue. That was a niche I appreciated.

oh, they’re definitely good enough to play MF. some of those MF bands are downright lame.
i liked the Berkeley – it wasn’t ear-splitting loud, and there were actual tables and chairs! fancy, for a club.
