Gaah! At least I was on the correct album. #14, “Frame by Frame.” I can relax now.

#5 is “You Better Run.” I had to listen to the song to confirm, and then I had to listen to it again. Man, I forget how wicked cool Pat Benatar was.

Just as guesses, I’m going to say #2 is the Beastie Boys and #17 is David Lee Roth.

OK here is what I have so far.

3 is Sinead O’Connor, “Nothing Compares 2 U”. Prince wrote it.

4 is the Police but I haven’t pinned the song down yet.

8 is Peter Gabriel “Shock The Monkey”

9 is the Stones from their disco days (!!). Need to sift through the memory cells a bit to get the song title

12 is John Mellencamp. As above, need to sift through the memory banks to pin down which Americana anthem this is.

    13 is Blondie “Call Me”.

18 is Steely Dan “Hey Nineteen”.

20 is the Talking Heads “Watching The Days Go By”. I think that’s the title, it’s the lyric on the hook.

Looks like you found a way to keep the regulars inspired while still allowing idiot first-timers to think they have a chance.
    Very nice. Still not playing.

  11. MikeJ

I can’t believe looking at my entry I left the band off “Hey Nineteen”. Of course it was the steam powered dildo, Steely Dan. If this is too late, so be it, but it was an honest mistake, and never googled (as if anyone would need to.)
