    Yippee! A prize!

I loved the snippet of song no. 1 so much that I Googled the lyrics and coughed up 79p for a copy. Great song and I’d never heard of Brandi Carlile before this quiz, so ta very much Cleek!

I’ll try a few more of her tracks then.

Annoyingly, iTunes UK only had that track on some other ‘album only’ compilation, so I headed over to Amazon instead. I do hate it when iTunes does that.

Still haven’t got around to sticking Uncut in the post yet either, which I will remedy next week.

So I found the chords for ‘What Can I Say?’ and can’t decide if the open or capo version sounds better. Cleek, what do you think? :)

since i don’t sing, i rarely use a capo (it doesn’t matter what key i’m in). so i usually prefer the open versions, just out of laziness.

That was darn hard. And even after seeing the answers I don’t know many of those bands. I’m fading out of the hipster scene…

I saw Acoustic Syndicate in Boone last night. I normally hate jam bands (Grateful Dead excluded) but AS is incredible and Big Daddy should be more famous than he is. Anyway, the guys in the band are older than me (I’d guess their mid to late 40s) but most of the 400 or so people at the show were in their early 20s.
