Ah, management training – today we learned about motivation (ha! we’ve just laid off 8% of the workforce), delegation and we built a ship out of Lego (don’t ask).

Tomorrow (assuming I can make it into work – the conditions outside aren’t looking favourable) we will learn about appraisals and how to deal with disruptive employees. I can’t wait.

    Enjoy the magazine.

OK, in honour of your 1970 quiz, here is a random selection of tracks from my collection. Note that I probably have a lot of 1970 tunes with a missing ‘Year’ tag (from compilations mostly) so my playlist only runs to 93 songs (the majority of which are Beatles/George Harrison numbers).

    1. Neil Young, After The Goldrush.
    2. Marc Bolan & T.Rex – Ride A White Swan.
    3. David Bowie – The Man Who Sold The World.
    4. The Who – Pinball Wizard (from ‘Live At Leeds’).
    5. The Kinks – Apeman.
