It's Over.
You guys/gals/ghouls got them all, this time. But, early bird Cris got the most, again! Congratulations!
And so to Cris, I present this lovely medal:

I'll do another one, someday (so stay turned to ok-cleek.com), but I'd like to change the way answers are handled. The way I'm doing it now, there's obviously a huge advantage to getting here first, and I'm not trying to encourage anyone to wake up early...
So, here are a couple of options:
- Set an end date/time and take the answers via email.
- Accept comments, but hide them until the contest's over. (or keep comments turned off until it's over)
Any other ideas?

Let’s write a little WordPress plugin for it.
Until then, I think hidden comments are preferable. Switching to email breaks the flow of blog interaction.
I will hang my trout medal next to the Golden Shorts.
i was thinking about a plugin that would show you only moderator’s comments and your own comments (where “your” is based on your IP addr). so, they’d all be hidden until the end, when i’d un-check the box and everything would show up for everyone. seems like it’d be easy enough to do the filtering. i’ve never done any WP plugin UI before, though.
what were you thinking ?
I was thinking of something ambitious enough to never progress past the half-a-page-of-scribbled-lines stage.
Your idea sounds like an excellent compromise.
