Walking Blues

Let's listen to Bonnie Raitt!

When I first heard this album, in the late 80s, I was shocked that this was the same person who was doing all those poppy tunes on the radio.

I was very fortunate in that some hippie friends played the whole of “Streetlights” for me in 1975 or so.
    Instantly smitten.
Saw her live, twice, in reasonably small venues in the latest 1970s.
When she walks on stage and picks up that great big guitar, she seemed so small … and twelve bars or so into the first song, she seemed much bigger and the guitar just the right size.

I have almost all of her CDs; there’s only two that I’ll probably not play again.

She still owns Prine’s “Angel From Montgomery”.

      my jealousy rages.

yep. it’s hard to beat Prine at his own song, too.
