By the way, cleek, did the vet mention putting rice in his diet? It’s often recommended for colon troubles, in humans and dogs, so maybe in cats too? Given an earlier comment that the problem might be some kind of bowel-related?
no, nothing about rice. vet’s instructions were “this [wet] food _only_ … plus pumpkin, plus antibiotics, plus probiotics, plus Pedialyte for dehydration”
but i hope we can start giving him some other kinds of food soon.
