This week, the iPod pulls the following sampler from the cutout bin.
- Side One:
- Green Day - Are We The Waiting
- Robyn Hitchcock - Visions of Johanna
- Grateful Dead - Wharf Rat
- The Cars - Bye Bye Love. (my favorite Cars song?)
- Radiohead - We Suck Young Blood
- The New Pornographers - Execution Day
- The Raconteurs - Together
- Viva Voce - Drown Them Out
- Shellac - Song Of The Minerals
- Deerhoof - The Perfect Me
Side Two:
Hallelujah.

We Suck Young Blood? I was never comfortable with the hand-claps in that song, though the ‘Hollywood’ subject matter and freak-out towards the end are OK.
Just noticed ‘Shellac’ – my Deerhoof/Melt Banana loving friend was raving about them at the weekend. I really must get him to visit your blog more often.
“We Suck Young Blood”… that might be the first time i’ve heard it. i got all the Radiohead stuff at once, and dropped it on my iPod – i’ve never really heard anything but Kid-A and the “hits” outside of shuffle.
