We’ve lots of bobcats here in South West Oregon. You can hear ’em “chuffing” at night sometimes.
My next door neighbor, who’s lost several cats to what she thinks are bobcats, told me that they will kill domestics but never eat them. A territory thing, if it’s true about the dead kitties I suspect. And, with exceptions like fish, it’s a fact that most cats prey exclusivity on herbivores.
