- Stereolab - Ping Pong. Get down with the feel-good joys of Marxist socio-political theory!
- Talking Heads - Psycho Killer. Live.
- Velvet Underground - Femme Fatale. I'll always prefer REM's version.
- Elliot Smith - Independence Day. Future butterfly / Gonna spend the day / higher than high / You'll be beautiful confusion.
- Green Day - Burnout. I'm not growing up / I'm just burning out.
- Breeders - Only In 3's. What's better than Kim Deal ? Kim Deal and her twin sister.
- Sea And Cake - Station In The Valley. Ahhh... soothing, blissful, early S&C.
- Led Zeppelin - Ozone Baby. Not bad, for Coda.
- The Anomoanon - Tongue and Heart. I simply don't like the word "tongue".
Up until those last two, it was looking to be a great 10.

Which version? “Stop Making Sense”, or “The Name Of This Band…”? I was playing this on the acoustic earlier – probably the first time I’ve played a TH song on the guitar, believe it or not. Must look for some more chords…
Saw a couple of guys in the pub on Saturday night playing acoustics – very good, though they made me feel very inadequate until they played a couple of Beatles tunes that I nailed myself recently. Big crowd too – now, if only I could sing…
