Man your javascript “really” message forced me to think harder. I had three on the tip of my tounge: 7, 8, and 10. I got 7 almost right away; then immediately loaded some Pixies into Winamp to have a listen. Yay, The Pixies are great, and I haven’t listened to them in a while.

Have you listened to any of Frank Black’s solo stuff, or the stuff with The Catholics? Some of it’s pretty good.

    Nice quiz.

  2. cleek

nope, never tried his solo stuff. i saw him live a long time ago, just because it was Frank Black. but it never really grabbed me. i think i miss the Kim Deal influence.

  3. Bobby Lightfoot

Oohhh…can’t resist. Let’s see if I can do better than 50% without cheating….

    1. “Powderfinger”- The future president of Lightfootland, Neil Young.
    2. I suck.
    3. “Running With Th’ Devil”- Teh almighty Halen.
    4. “Moonlight Drive”- Val Kilmer and The Doors
    5. I suck.
    6. I suck hard.
    7. “Here Comes Your Man”- that old band of Frank Black’s.
    8. “Blister In The Sun”- Gordon Gano’s old band that Chrissie Hynde discovered busking outside a Pretender’s show.
    9. I suck to a perfect vacuum.
    10. “In Your Eyes”- That old dude that started Emerson Lake and Gabriel.

I bet you’re so good you can get this one from the FIRST TWO WORDS: “Hey, Jude…”

  4. cleek

well done, Mr. Lightfoot. 6 is a respectable showing.
