Usually it’s a 7.5 hour day (9:00AM – 5:30PM with an hour for lunch.) I tend to work 8:30AM to 5:00PM or take a short lunch and leave at 4:30PM. I’d start earlier if there was a suitable train as my kids tend to be up early anyway.

So none of this 40 hour week nonsense thank you!

I work for the county so I work from 8.30 to 4, half hour lunch which is paid. I would have flex time if I didn’t work in a school, but there the hours are what the hours are. Everyone brown bags it here, even lawyers and executives (unless they are having a business lunch or something).

I actually get oodles of vacation/holiday working in a school. A week in the Autumn, almost two at Christmas, a week for winter vacation and a week at Easter. And eight weeks in the summer, some of which reduces my salary but the bulk of which is comp time for work outside of work time.

    1. Iggy Pop – Lust for Life
    2. The National – Start a War
    3. Gary Numan – Bombers
    4. Coil – Die Wolfe Kemmen Zuruck
    5. Rammstein – Ich Tu Dir Wen
    6. Legendary Pink Dots – Basilisk 1
    7. The Black Angels – Bloodhounds on My Trail
    8. Jane’s Addiction – Been Caught Stealing
    9. Fountains of Wayne – Troubled Times
    10. The Smiths – Girl Afraid

Wow, that got really esoteric in the middle.
