nope. was hoping for a week that behaves as a neutral salt in which any replaceable hydroxyl groups or hydrogen atoms have been replaced by other groups or atoms, as sodium sulfate, Na2SO4.

Ok, ten random from the Cowon A3 (around 6,000+ songs).

    1. Tegan and Sara – Call it Off
    2. The Sounds – Ego
    3. Jimmy Eat World – The Authority Song
    4. Foo Fighters – Razor
    5. Portion Control – Micro Box
    6. Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds – Lie Down Here (& Be My Girl)
    7. Shout Out Louds – Very Loud
    8. Siouxsie & The Banshees – The Killing Jar
    9. TV on the Radio – Dancing Choose
    10. Shout Out Louds – Hard Rain

    Bonus: Sloan – Golden Eyes

For some reason the Cowon (or as my wife refers to it, “Your Precioussssssssss) has been playing the crap out of the Shout Out Louds on random lately.

“Our Ill Wills” is even better in my opinion. I just recently attained a copy of the new one, “Works” but haven’t given it a thorough listen yet. At first glance it sounds like more of the same.

I just noticed that I had two Swedish bands in my list (The Sounds as well). Sweden has given us some great bands. Norway, not as much, but not bad either for such a small country.

The Soundtrack Of Our Lives are Swedish and they rock.

I work with Jessi Frey, a Finnish ex-rockstar. She was lead singer in a band called Velcra, who had success in mainland Europe.

She’s sat behind me right now! I’m in a meeting with her later! The excitement!

Leningrad Cowboys are great! And Thru the Wire had the singer from one of the bands that nobody guessed in the latest name that tune, The Members’ Nicky Tesco.

I LOVE Soundtrack of Our Lives. And their previous incarnation, Union Carbide Productions.

We used to live next door to the bassist from a fairly big Norwegian rock band, Barbie Bones. He was cool and his son went to my kids school and had a band that rocked, for sixth graders.

Here is a seriously great song from a Bergen band, Popium. In the video they are running around my city.
