Note 1: If I'm ever on the brink of achieving even slight fame, for any reason, scrub the net for any trace of my prior life. Ouch.
Note 2: Maybe I should beef up that pseudonymity.

We were out at MacGregor's Ale House, in Cary, last Friday night (Good Friday), drinkin beers, swearin, whatever. The topic of being cut off by bartenders came up, and I recalled that the only time I'd ever been cut off was on Good Friday, 1994, at a bar also called MacGregor's - but this one was 677 miles north, in Rochester NY. My girlfriend and I both had the day off from work, so we spent our day barhopping. We were cut off at MacGregor's before the sun went down. I'm smarter now - wiser, at least - so, there weren't any incidents, this time. Nobody got cut off - they brought us as many Blue Moons as we could handle: 0 for me, about 400 for the rest of the group.
While we were there, I ordered a "grouper sandwich". It was delicious, but it weren't no grouper. A grouper is a big fish - the fillets are nearly always an inch thick, or more. And it's like $19/lb at the store up the road from the bar. No, this fish was a skinny little thing that looked more like sole or some anonymous Asian catfish. Oh well, no biggie. Like I said, it was delicious. But, after reading this article, I wonder if I should have had the chicken wings instead... ?
So, if the US sponsors terrorists who fight against Iran, how can we condemn countries that sponsor terrorism against us ?
Looks like I picked the wrong decade to stop taking my Acceptol / Forgettol blend.
And this week...

Behold "The Lord of the Rings", retold in marshmallow Peeps.
