Often dealing with issues of identity, migration and displacement and questioning my purpose as an artist in the wider and fast moving 21st century world, I seek to observe and represent all realms of life including the dysfunctional nature of the world we live in. Issues of rejection or marginalisation, both personal and societal will be raised as well as commentaries on society and humanity as reflective or deflective of their philosophical thought.

These images represent the juxtaposition of the timeless and majestic elegance of nature’s sensory-surpassing miracles with the entangled and growing tensions of our time in culturally reconnecting with the shift away from the human condition of love. In developing my visual perspective, I’ve discerned the fleeting significance from the invariable through emphasizing the growing collective disdain for the socially underdeveloped that has come to define our generation and crystallized over the last decade. Through highlighting this generational discontent in honing its cultural responsibility of deconstructing traditional understanding of social roles against the unrefined purity of the emotionally captivating cycles of nature, my work serves as a middle ground to visually level and gauge the social progress of man by means of extremities occurring in class stratification. In giving careful attention to the mediating filters that propagates socially-constructed irreverence, I aim to address the necessity of breaking down the symbolic paradigms of understanding to revisit the overlooked empathy for humanity and its greater accountability to each other.

The flux creates, the chaos reproduces. In the material space, art objects are resurrections of the creations of the flux -- a flux that uses the chaos as a machine to materialize ideas, patterns, and emotions. With the evolution of the electronic environment, the flux is conceiving a point where it will be free from the chaos to realize immersions into the parameters of the gnomic space.

The mind creates, the chaos reproduces. In the synaptic artifice, art objects are deprecations of the iterations of the mind -- a mind that uses the chaos as a machine to materialize ideas, patterns, and emotions. With the evolution of the electronic environment, the mind is approaching a point where it will be free from the chaos to consume immersions into the machinations of the Delphic artifice. And so, my work investigates the nuances of pixels through the use of slow motion and close-ups which emphasize the artificial nature of digital media. It explores the abstract and uses scenery as motifs to describe the idea of infinite artifice. Using loops, non-linear narratives, and slow-motion images as patterns, it creates meditative environments which suggest the expansion of time.

Coreopsis and Crescent

Either a Pearl Crescent or a Mimic Crescent.

My work explores the relationship between consumerist fetishism and football chants. With influences as diverse as Munch and Miles Davis, new tensions are distilled from both orderly and random discourse. Ever since I was a pre-adolescent I have been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of the zeitgeist. What starts out as hope soon becomes manipulated into a cacophony of lust, leaving only a sense of chaos and the dawn of a new reality. As momentary phenomena become distorted through diligent and academic practice, the viewer is left with a testament to the edges of our culture.

My work explores the relationship between the universality of myth and vegetarian ethics. With influences as diverse as Kierkegaard and Andy Warhol, new variations are synthesised from both simple and complex narratives. Ever since I was a pre-adolescent I have been fascinated by the theoretical limits of relationships. What starts out as contemplation soon becomes corrupted into a carnival of defeat, leaving only a sense of decadence and the dawn of a new understanding. As subtle forms become reconfigured through frantic and repetitive practice, the viewer is left with a clue to the edges of our future.

My work explores the relationship between Jungian archetypes and romance tourism. With influences as diverse as Nietzsche and L Ron Hubbard, new combinations are crafted from both mundane and transcendent structures. Ever since I was a teenager I have been fascinated by the essential unreality of the universe. What starts out as hope soon becomes corrupted into a hegemony of futility, leaving only a sense of what could have been and the prospect of a new reality. As temporal replicas become clarified through studious and academic practice, the viewer is left with a clue to the edges of our condition.
