Hey, did you know that blasphemy is illegal in Massachusetts ?
I can't find any similar law in North Carolina. I guess that means NC is a godless heathen state and MA is a truly Christian one. I'm sure I can find some NC'ians who'd disagree.
But I did find a law that makes it illegal to bribe horse show judges, and another that says it's illegal to drive a vehicle that creates a smoke screen. So, I guess that's good.

CNN.com currently has a big "Breaking News" banner up which says:
The U.S. Geological Survey has increased the magnitude of the Indonesian earthquake to 8.2.
If the Indonesians do not surrender within the hour, the USGS is prepared to increase it to a 9.0.
Disclaimer: since there are currently no reports of casualties, I feel fine making fun of this. I reserve the right to delete this and never mention it again, if it turns out to be deadly.
