So, um, what's the connection between vinegar and the Super Bowl?
I was grocery shopping yesterday and noticed that the shelves where the white vinegar sits were nearly empty. At first I thought "Wings! People are making their own wing sauce!" Then I noticed that most of the balsamic vinegar was gone, too.

What advantage is gained by having two different words to refer to oneself?
What information is lost if, instead of "I shot the sheriff", me say "Me shot the sheriff" ?
Why does it matter if the speaker is the object or the subject? Why should there be different words?
Likewise "he" / "him", "she" / "her".

So, it pretty clearly looks like the giant, well-established Komen foundation is trying to turn itself into a "conservative"-leaning woman's health charity. That sucks. Obviously.
But, assuming that is the goal, is what they've done a bad move?
Name another group in that niche. Name one with even one tenth the clout of SGK.
I'm just guessing here... but I'll guess that if they lose even half their support, they'll still be huge - the biggest of their kind. And that's not a bad place to be, if you want to control what women's health clinics can afford to do.
In other words: I'm guessing the SGK leadership has anticipated the current backlash, and is betting they'll still be in good shape once everything is said and done. They'll still be big, and they can use the brand to push their "conservative" agenda.
