I write like

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!
Update:
On the other hand, I put the same text into it again, and it told me I write like David Foster Wallace. And then I tried it five more times and it said Wallace each time. So, there's something goofy about it. But I do like David Foster Wallace, so that's fine.
Cool thing is, if you’re not satisfied with that result, use a different post and you will be told you write like somebody else, likely Dickens or Vonnegut or Dan Brown.
i don’t know if i should be satisfied or not. the page doesn’t say what it means to write like Lovecraft. and i’ve never read any.
For me, being told I write like anybody who makes/made their living writing would be a great compliment, if I were able to take it at all seriously.
Two good posts about this at Making Light, by Teresa and Jim
I write like Stephen King, apparently … wouldn’t know, though.
