Earth Burps
A couple more from Yellowstone...

Nikon D90, 18-105mm
One of Yellowstone's mud-pots - basically a volcanic gas vent that's filled with mud (instead of water as in geysers). So, it bubbles and spits and burps, instead of hissing or spraying.

A hot spring, near Old Faithful. No bubbling or hissing. Just some pretty blue water, simmering away in its deep mineral-lined pool. It smelled like a smoke bomb.

Pepper is sick this week - a UTI, which can (and did) make a cat stop using her litter box. This has so far cost us one suitcase, a rug, a towel, a pet carrier, and possibly a couch. The trip to the vet lead to her usual rear-end explosions, which made her smell bad. Which makes Tricksey HATE her. Plus, the drugs she has to take make her very drowsy so she was a little slow to get herself cleaned up. Sigh...
Also, she's probably sad about what happened to Tunch.

Why WY

And the reason we're in Wyoming is for a wedding, which took place Saturday, in the sagebrush in front of Grand Teton.
