Golden Garden Spiders are the best.

When I was a kid, we thought of them as pets! (would feed them, pick ’em up, etc.)

The neighbor kids called them “Writing Spiders”, and if they write your name on their web, YOU ARE GOING TO DIE!

Lucky my name wasn’t “NNNNN” or “ZZZZZZ”

I saw one on the back of my house in Cornersville, TN. (Southern Middle TN) I wanted to take a picture, but I was worried it might jump so I stood back from it and whacked it onto the deck with a broom. Its body fell off its legs and splattered yellow gunk on the deck.
